For anyone that likes to cook or just enjoys the taste of fresh flavours. Herbs are easy, fast growing and don’t need a large space to grow.
Where to grow herbs?
- Herbs don’t need a huge depth of soil which makes them perfect for pots, bowls or planters. You can choose the size of pot to the size of space you have.
- Balcony, window box, or that corner on the terrace. Where it is easy to harvest when you cook.
- They don’t need as much sun as vegetables, which makes them perfect for any spot that only gets a certain amount of sun per day. Half a day of sun is usually enough.
Plant your herbs.
- As mentioned, herbs do not need a huge depth of soil, however make sure you use a premium potting mix to ensure nutrients.
- Cover the soil with sugar cane mulch, it will protect and breaks down over time and enrich the soil.
- Water, herbs should not dry out.
Herbs are fast growing, so you should be able to harvest within 4-6 weeks.
