All our grass varieties are grown at Buchanan turf farm in Bolwarra, Maitland. From the most popular Sir Walter DNA certified Buffalo, the most drought tolerant TifTuf Bermuda, economical all rounder Eureka Kikuyu and the premium Sir Grange Zoysia.

Sir Walter DNA certified Buffalo.
The most popular grass in Australia. It will stay greener longer and resist fungus better than other grasses. It tolerates shade and is fantastic in full sun, high drought tolerance and easy to maintain when established. Sir Walter Buffalo has a lush, thick feel underfoot and an ability to self-repair which makes it ideal for play areas.
Our turf is sold by the tile, 1230 x 610mm = 0.75m2.

TifTuf Bermuda.
TifTuf is the most drought tolerant grass in Australia. It has a very high wear tolerance, fast growing and ability to self-repair. when eTifTuf is fine leafed compared to Sir Walter Buffalo that is broad leafed.
Our turf is sold by the tile, 1230 x 610mm = 0.75m2.
Eureka Kikuyu.
Eureka Kikuyu is our economical all-rounder. It is a real quick grower and a great solution for large areas. It prefers sun and has a medium tolerance to drought. Kikuyu does require a bit more maintenance in the warmer months thanks to its fast growing abilities.

Sir Grange Zoysia.
Sir Grange Zoysia is our premium turf, it is a fine bladed with a high shade tolerance and very low nutrient and water requirements when established. Sir Grange Zoysia demands a bit more maintenance to establish, however, when established it is very hardy and tough with excellent self-repairing capabilities.

Sir Walter DNA certified Buffalo is a very shade tolerant variety, however there are other varieties that tolerates shade as well.
