Our most popular grass is DNA Certified Sir Walter Buffalo. It will stay greener longer and resist fungus better than other grasses. It has a lush, thick feel underfoot making it an ideal choice for play areas. Sir Walter is less invasive into gardens than Kikuyu and Couch and less mowing than Kikuyu, (approx 50% in summer). It will also stay green in winter in most areas, provided it is fertilised well in autumn and not mown too low prior to winter.

Our turf is sold by the tile: 1230mm x 610mm = 0.75m2.
An easy way to calculate how many tiles you need for your area, multiply your measured area in m2 x 1.33 = tiles.
We will require your order by 12pm the day before collection or delivery. Turf availability can be subject to weather and logistics, and as such we will contact you if changes need to be made.
